Waxing during "that time of the month"

Is it gross to get waxed while on your period? It may seem cringe-worthy, but it's totally doable.

Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Check if your professional is okay with waxing during your period, as some prefer not to.
  2. You might be more sensitive around your cycle, so the service could be more uncomfortable. Consider taking an Advil 30 minutes before your appointment.
  3. Wear a clean tampon and bring a fresh one. Use the restroom right before to ensure everything is sanitary. The technician may tuck the string inside to avoid catching it in the wax.
  4. Avoid pads or menstrual cups to prevent any leakage during the service.

Professionals have seen it all and will make you feel comfortable and cared for, no matter the situation.
